Dr. Mark Reimer
Dr. Mark Reimer is a general surgeon who specializes in gastroscopy and colonoscopy procedures in private clinics.
He performs between 1,250 and 1,500 gastroscopy and colonoscopy procedures each year.Dr. Reimer has been active and full-time, in this field since 2010. He has the refined experience and knowledge that is acquired after a practice of about 17,000 procedures.
Education
Dr. Reimer is a Fellow of the Royal Collegeof Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC). He is a member of the OntarioMedical Association (OMA) and for educational and academic purposes, a memberof the European Society of Gastroenterology (ESGE). Dr. Reimer is licensed topractice medicine in both Quebec and Ontario.
Training
His academic training took place in Canada and in the United States. He holds an Honours BSc in biochemistry with specialization in biotechnology from the University of Waterloo. He completed his MD degree in 2002 at the University of Western Ontario in London, ON. His specialty training is in General Surgery, from the University of Ottawa. He then sub-specialized in Endoscopy and Minimally Invasive Surgery at McMaster University, in Hamilton. Dr. Reimer has also completed a physician-executive MBA, at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, TN, USA.
Experience
Dr. Reimer has owned and been the lead physician at endoscopy clinics in Kitchener, Ottawa and Montreal. He would care for you at the state-of-the-art Endovision Clinic in downtown Montreal.
Dr. Reimer is fluent in French, English and German.In his spare time, Dr. Reimer enjoys spending time with his wife Helen, recreational cycling, running and swimming, and the study of new languages.

Outside of work, I have a deep appreciation for the outdoors and find solace in nature. Exploring the beauty of the natural world rejuvenates me and brings a sense of balance to my life. In addition, I have a passion for really good science fiction movies, as they allow me to indulge in imaginative storytelling and contemplate the possibilities of the future.
